
KryptoCOM™ starts automatically when the device switches on.
To start the program after long inactivity times press and hold the green button (the one used for normal calls on the left) or select “Menu” and click on the KryptoCOM™ icon. Alternatively launch KryptoCOM by selecting the program icon.
The default settings (Protocol “v.110” and “Transparent” Connection) is to be used for most GSM networks.
Select Protocol “V.32” if roaming or Protocol v.110 isn’t supported.
Should connection problems persist select “non transparent”.
The user authentication password controls access to KryptoCOM™®.
To set select
Menu>Options>Password User.
The default password will be requested: enter “1234” in the field “enter old password” and digit the new password twice in the two following field, then click on “Done”.
For maximum security we recommend to enable authentication on each program start by selecting:
Select Menu> Options> Authentication mode > Always.
Set call and ring volume for kryptoCOM calls.
KryptoCOM calls’ ringtone is set by default to use a Different tone from the one Used by normal calls.
To make a kryptoCOM call, simply digit the number on the keyboard or select it from the address book (select “Contacts” and select as required).
Then press the green call key.
Once the advance bar is complete the conversation will begin.
We recommend that you verify with the interlocutor the numeric identification, present in the interface, and which differs for each call, so as to be able to ascertain the absence of any Man-In-The-Middle connections.
